A subscription to e-LINCS.net offers several options. You can purchase a Characteristic Identification Tool or an FAI & SPC Web Tool or both.
  • Characteristic Identification Tool Choices
    • DISCUS Basic - This application allows you to use a single, common process to meet your customers' varying AS9102 requirements. Simply drop balloons on your drawing and create a list of characteristics that stays in synch with your ballooned drawing.Fill in the characteristic requirements with structured data or small images captured right from the drawing. After ballooning, simply export the ballooned drawing to a PDF file and the characteristic data to MS Excel or Net-inspect, and enjoy the time you've saved.
    • DISCUS 3D - DISCUS 3D offers you DISCUS Basic plus the additional support for 3D CAD models.3D allows you to significantly reduce the time it takes to balloon part drawings, and soon models, and create inspection sheets in AS9102 or internal formats. You can save even more time using the DISCUS Characteristic Identification and Inspection setup process, plus extract data from 3D models through model interrogation, measuring model features and, for models containing Product Manufacturing Information (PMI) and annotations, automatic ballooning. This streamlined process for working with 3D models as well as 2D drawing files offers a unique approach for quality inspection preparation.
  • FAI & SPC Web Tool Choice
    • net-inspect - net-inspect is an online FAI and SPC creation tool. The FAI corresponds to an AS9102 Rev compliant form which allows you gather your characteristics, drawings and specs into one location. Once completed, the FAI data can then be passed onto the SPC module for CPK calculations.
